  שחרור החטופים תחילה!

  Immediate release of Israeli hostages

  Update 12.10.23: Chancellor Schultz declared that he is dedicated to releasing all hostages and visited Israel a day before President Biden's visit as part of Germany's efforts on this issue. Now, as world leaders are committed to the release of hostages, we focus our efforts on opening a humanitarian corridor. The horrific images from the south of Israel are heart breaking. It is difficult to breathe and the stomach turns with the tragic news that keeps coming. In this nightmare, our priorities must be clear: to do everything possible to save the 150 hostages Hamas kidnapped to Gaza. Every moment counts to save their lives, but the extreme right-wingers in the Israeli government are pushing for massive airstrikes in Gaza. This will only endanger the lives of Israeli hostages and cause more bloodshed and suffering of innocent people on both sides of the border. It’s hard to digest, but it’s been said openly that the Israeli military response to the Hamas attack should not consider the lives of Israelis there. Only international involvement will bring the Israeli government and Hamas to the negotiation table. This is why together with Campact, Zazim’s sister group in Germany, we are calling the German government to step in as a fair mediator and to negotiate an exchange deal to save the Israeli hostages. Germany has successfully mediated prisoner and hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas in the past, as in the case of Israeli soldier taken prisoner by Hamas Gilad Shalit - and now we desperately need Germany to do the same again, as Israel is facing two options: Bombing Gaza and destroying it to the ground, killing thousands of innocent people in Gaza and eliminating all chances to rescue the Israeli hostages or prioritize rescuing the hostages through an exchange deal. For so many, it’s already too late. For over 1200 Israelis already murdered by Hamas and for 1000 Palestinians in Gaza killed in the Israeli airstrikes (numbers apply to 11.10.23 noon IST) But your name in the call to the German Government can help save the lives of the 150 hostages and prevent more tragic bloodshed on both sides. It's a small step, but everything counts towards stopping the cycle of violence and bringing an equitable and lasting peace for people on all sides of the conflict.   Comiencen la liberación de los rehenes!

  Son días oscuros, con una tristeza profunda, corazones rotos con los videos e información que llega, la garganta cerrada con sensación de asfixia y el estómago revuelto ante las duras noticias que recibimos a cada momento. En medio del horror que estamos viviendo, nuestras prioridades deben estar más claras que nunca: hacer lo imposible para salvar a los 150 rehenes que Hamas llevó a Gaza. El gobierno actual no comprende el deber humano de traer a los rehenes de vuelta a casa sanos y salvos. Algunos de ellos, como Smutrich, no se avergüenza cuando afirma que la respuesta israelí respecto a Gaza no debería tener en cuenta la vida de los israelíes secuestrados (bebés, madres, ancianos, mujeres, hombres y niños). El gobierno prefiere bombardeos masivos que llevarán a la pérdida de miles de niños, mujeres y civiles inocentes en Gaza y eliminarán cualquier posibilidad de devolver con vida a los secuestrados. Es por eso, que desde el sábado por la mañana somos los ciudadanos quienes exigimos que se debe actuar y de inmediato. Junto con Compact, la organización hermana de Zazim en Alemania, lanzamos una campaña pidiendo al gobierno alemán que lidere los esfuerzos para negociar un acuerdo para devolver a los rehenes a cambio de prisioneros palestinos. En el pasado Alemania ha actuado con éxito como mediador en el acuerdo de Shalit y tiene las herramientas y capacidad para llevar a Israel y Hamas a la mesa de negociaciones. Según los informes, Qatar ya está intentando mediar un acuerdo de este tipo, pero el gobierno israelí, responsable de este terrible fracaso, se niega a entablar negociaciones. Sólo una amplia participación internacional hará que el gobierno israeíi tome conciencia y priorice a los rehenes vivos que a más y más muerte y sufrimiento. La campaña en Alemania se publicará en las próximas horas y se distribuirá entre millones de alemanes. Porque cada minuto cuenta, las firmas serán enviadas directamente a la Cancillería y al Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Alemania en un plazo de 24 horas. Ahora es nuestro momento de sumar nuestra voz de grito desde Israel, por nuestros seres queridos, amigos, familia y conciudadanos. Todos estamos abrumados por sentimientos de miedo, tristeza e ira por la imperdonable masacre cometida por Hamas. La solución no es continuar derramando sangre y matar a miles de inocentes en Gaza. El gobierno se enfrenta a una decisión decisiva entre una venganza inútil o el regreso de los niños, padres y abuelos a casa. Hagamos todo lo posible para que elijan correctamente.

  إعادة المخطوفين اولا!
